NE Coastal Flooding.

Not a good forecast:
http://forecast.weather.gov/showsigwx.php…
* TIMING…DURING THE SUNDAY MORNING HIGH TIDE CYCLE.
* STORM SURGE…ANTICIPATING A STORM SURGE OF 2 TO 2.5 FEET…
PROBABLY HIGHEST SALISBURY TO CAPE ANN…AND WAVES APPROACHING 20 FEET JUST OFFSHORE FOR THE SUNDAY MORNING HIGH TIDE.
* IMPACTS…THE REACH OF COASTLINE FROM SALISBURY TO CAPE
ANN…INCLUDING THE PLUM ISLAND AREA…LOOKS TO BE MOST AT RISK FOR UP TO MODERATE COASTAL FLOODING AND SIGNIFICANT BEACH EROSION. SIGNIFICANT BEACH EROSION IS ALSO A CONCERN FOR THE CAPE COD BAY SHORELINE FROM SANDWICH TO DENNIS. THERE IS A RISK OF SOME OVERWASH ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE INCLUDING HULL…SCITUATE AND MARSHFIELD DUE TO THE COMBINATION OF SURGE AND WAVES…AS WELL AS THE AREA BEING HARD HIT FROM THE PREVIOUS BLIZZARD.
