North Shore Christmas storm, waves heights have come down a bit, higher for South Shore and Cape Cod.

SynopsisA WEAK INVERTED TROUGH WILL LINGER THROUGH TODAY. STRONG LOW PRESSURE WELL TO THE WEST WILL DRIVE A WARM FRONT WITH A STRONG SOUTHEAST FLOW ACROSS THE WATERS WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT. A COLD FRONT CROSSES THE WATERS AND SWITCHES THE FLOW TO THE WEST ON THURSDAY.
Today NE winds around 10 kt…becoming E with gusts up to 20 kt this afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 ft. A chance of showers or a slight chance of snow showers this morning…then a chance of showers this afternoon. Vsby 1 to 3 nm.
Tonight E winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. A chance of showers. Vsby 1 to 3 nm.
Tue E winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Rain likely…mainly in the afternoon. Vsby 1 to 3 nm in the morning.
Tue Night E winds 15 to 20 kt…diminishing to 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Rain likely.
Wed SE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 7 ft. Rain.
Wed Night S winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 5 to 8 ft. Rain. Vsby 1 to 3 nm.
Thu SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 10 ft. Showers likely.
Thu Night W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 8 ft.
