Plum Island winter erosion forecast:

There is a moderate to high probability of having erosion events throughout this winter. December will have 14 days of over 9 foot high tides. The average is about 10 days. These two windows of vulnerability will be from December 2nd to December 8th and from December 22 to December 27th. The winter will continue that way until March when there will only be 9 days of over 9 foot tides but they will go up to 10 feet on March 22 and 23rd.
