  1. Curious what you base your opinion on as articulated in the title. Are you boots on the ground in Orleans. It appears the last Camps in NBI survived although there was over wash on the island.

    • Nope, I’m just going by what I see in today’s photo compared to photos taken last month. Looks like the dune has eroded back several feet. Glad to hear the camps did OK.

    • I flew down around dawn today (3/28). Their is not much of a visual difference at NBI. The two camps at the Northern end look the same as they did in Feb on the video I sent out. It appears, but I did not measure, the 2007 break at the North end of NBI appears larger. The camps on the Orleans side appeared the same as well.
