Plum Island; Small craft advisory, expect minimum cumulative erosion.

Tonight: NW winds 20 to 25 kt…becoming W after midnight. Gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft. Rain likely with a chance of snow showers this evening…then a slight chance of snow showers after midnight. Patchy fog this evening. Vsby 1 nm or less.

Wed: W winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 35 kt. Seas 4 to 7 ft.

Wed Night: W winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt… Diminishing to 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 ft.

Thu: W winds 5 to 10 kt…becoming N in the afternoon. Seas 1 foot or less.

Thu Night: NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 1 foot or less. A chance of snow. Vsby 1 to 3 nm.

Fri: W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas around 2 ft.

Fri Night: NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

Sat: NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft.

Sat Night: NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft.

Sun: NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft.

Sun Night: N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft.

seas are reported as significant wave height…which is the average of the highest third of the waves. individual wave heights may be more than twice the significant wave height.
