Expect Stormier Conditions as we transition out of La Nina to a neutral position in the El Nino La Nina cycle.st

This weekend’s mild northeaster could be a predictor of future storms. NOAA is forecasting that the La Nina system that has kept the weather so mild this winter is breaking down and we should enter a neutral position in March and April. April and May is also when the Proxigean moons will send the tides to 5.6 feet the highest of the year. April is potentially the most dangerous month when the tides will be high and there is still a threat of storms. Fortunately the beaches have not been eroded by former storms this winter.

Mon…N winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 4 to 7 ft. tides 5.1 feet.

Mon Night…NW winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 5 to 8 ft. 11;49 am tide 5.1 foot.
