More and more Great White sharks are feeding on Gray seals this summer. At the same time fishermen have been illegally killing seals because they have been reducing their catches. Nature abhores a vaccuum and apex predators have moved in to feed on a plentiful food source. If we start to intervene where do we stop? It makes more sense to protect the habitat rather than risk the unforseen consequences of controlling inconvenient species.
